Seabreeze Contracting has been awarded a major infrastructure package as part of the Hope Downs 1 Sustaining Project, supporting the long-term operations of one of the Pilbara’s most significant mining assets.

Working with engineering partner Calibre, our scope covers the delivery of critical infrastructure across the HD1 and HD2 precincts. This includes construction of new accommodation facilities, upgrades to heavy and light vehicle access roads, and installation of new water and power systems - alongside the development of production and haulage infrastructure to support ore movement between sites.

The scope includes the realignment and upgrade of mine access roads, along with the construction of new road train and haul road networks to support site logistics.

Works also involve the installation of five concrete arch tunnels across key rail and road corridors, as well as the development of production hubs, material handling pads, and explosive storage facilities. Supporting infrastructure such as refuelling bays, washdowns, workshops, water treatment systems, office buildings, and ablutions is also being delivered as part of the broader operational footprint.

This is a project shaped by scale, and defined by coordination. Our team is proud to bring practical capability and disciplined delivery to a site that plays a vital role in sustaining iron ore output in the region.
